In 1560, there was a turning point in the Sengoku period.
It is the battle of Okehazama.
Yoshimoto Imagawa, the Lord of Suruga, dominated the three countries of Suruga, Totoumi, and Mikawa, and was aiming for Owari.
On the other hand, Nobunaga Oda had just unified Owari and was significantly inferior to Yoshimoto in terms of strength. Yoshimoto finally sent out 25,000 large troops to subdue Owari.
The Imagawa army attacked the Oda’s forts one after another.
In the Oda caste, it was debated whether or not to surrender.
However, Nobunaga knew the situation in detail.
When Yoshimoto's main unit, 5,000 people, separated from the advance team and got information that they were resting, Nobunaga jumped out.
Later, 2,000 Oda army followed. The Imagawa army, who could not understand the approach of the Oda army due to heavy rain, fell into a mess. Shinsuke Mori as Oda’s subordinate, who had known Yoshimoto's place in advance, brilliantly defeated Yoshimoto.
The Imagawa family, who lost the excellent general, Yoshimoto, would decline and the power of Nobunaga will expand.
